Dr. Mangesh Amale was born in Dingore village, Junnar, Pune district — into a family of daily labourers. Where others saw obstacles, he saw opportunity. Working multiple jobs to fund his education, he earned degree after degree — eventually accumulating 13 academic qualifications from institutions including IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, IIT Jammu, Washington University USA, and the London School of Business & Economics.
After a distinguished career in banking IT — leading technology at Deccan Bank and later HDFC Bank — Dr. Amale took the bold step of founding Velox Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in 2010. His vision was clear: India needed its own indigenous enterprise cybersecurity platform, built to protect the nation's critical infrastructure — banks, ATMs, government systems, and corporate networks.
Today, Velox Solutions is ranked #1 in ATM Terminal Security in India and #3 worldwide, protecting 200+ organisations across banking, government, healthcare, and corporate sectors. Dr. Amale was personally invited by the US Government as SelectUSA's representative for India — a recognition of his global stature in technology and business.
Beyond technology, Dr. Amale is a committed social worker. Through the Mangesh Amale Initiative NGO and the Velox Foundation, he provides free cancer treatment, rural education scholarships, health check-up camps, and community welfare programmes — serving thousands across Maharashtra.
